Hi and welcome to the group. I am very interested in the utility XXCOPY,
mainly as a tool for synchronizing directories and backing up files.

The website is very good and the author has good documentation for the
program in the form of "technical bulletins".

XXCOPY has so many command switches that it can be a bit intimidating. On
the other hand, all these options make XXCOPY a very flexible tool. It can
be used for all kinds of operations if you have a little imagination. You
can see some ingenious uses of XXCOPY on the web page "cookbook". It can be
a bit hard to determine just what will happen with a complex XXCOPY command
line, though, so you need to be careful!

Anyway, this group is designed to be a place to discuss various ways to use
XXCOPY.
