I haven't the ability to test it, but have you seen this in the docs, and could that be the cause? Note: The FAT (DOS/Win9x) file system has a 2-second granularity in file time whereas NTFS, Unix and other file systems use finer time stamps. So, when you compare files across different file systems, you should truncate the file time (use /TT).
