Dear Don: You are absolutely right. What we need is a way to specify the tolerance in timestamp-comarison. In my earlier post (#15) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xxcopy/message/15 I mentioned it as a future switch. It would work like this: --------Caution, the description below is not implemented yet ----- (this is how it would be implemented in the future, if ever) The function will called /FF (Fuzzy filetime) /FF // default = +/- 2 seconds /FF+p // adjust by + p seconds /FF-n // adjust by - n seconds /FFx // adjust by +x and -x seconds /FF+p /FF-n // adjust by +p and -n seconds Here, /FF-2 is equivalent to the /FT switch and /FF+2 is equivalent to the /FR switch. Thus, the new /FF switch will supercede and make the current awkward /FT, /FR switches obsolete. I'm not sure when I will get around to add this. But, this thing has been in my mind for some time as many others are...
