Kan - the /CF Command File feature sounds great! Even though I haven't read the details yet. I remember a program that came out a long time ago - the basic idea was to allow you to manipulate files using the Dbase command language. That sounded great back then, when I knew the Dbase language quite well. But I have forgotten it now! I suppose a lot of file management could be done using VBScript in conjunction with the Windows Scripting Host (WSH) and the File System Object (FSO), but I bet it would be s-l-o-w. jim > But, there is a good news for you if you have not seen the > recent beta test version.
