Subject  :  error 3 copy and remove failed after adding /RC

I am trying to move 2,000 files by date to a separate volume. I can 
get them to copy with no errors with the /DB & /S switches, but as 
soon as I add the /RC switch, after it copies and removes a couple 
files, I get the following error:

## Error 3 ## The system cannot find the path specified. Copy 
failed.

All suggestions will be appreciated!
