Dear Kelly: This one sounds like a bug. This is for everybody who will post a bug (or a bug suspect) report: Please make sure that your post includes 1. the XXCOPY version number that you are talking about, 2. the full command line Here, I assume that you are running the latest official release (ver 2.44.4). Again, I assume a typical /DB parameter like /DB#100. that is, the command line is like XXCOPY c:\src d:\dst /db#100 /s /rc So far, I could not duplicate your problem on our system. Of course it is possible that on your system, if you have a "competing" application such as anti-virus program which are constantly accessing (and modifying directories) the file which was just accessed by XXCOPY and by the time the file is to be deleted by XXCOPY, the file might be gone. That is what the message implies. If the error message is to be believed, then, the scenario which explains the situation is that immediately after the source file is accessed and copied to the destination, the source file has been either removed, renamed or otherwise made inaccessible by another program. This is rather unsual circumstance and the first thing you should do is to verify if the file in question is still in the source file. Can you copy the same file to elsewhere (that is, is the file still there in the source directory)? Answers to such questions would give us more info as to what is really happening on your system. So far, what you describe makes little sense and I cannot reproduce what you described. What we need is detailed description. When you make a bug report, please make sure that we do not have to make ton's of speculative answers or to ask more questions in order to answer the original question.
