Hi Inventor. I'm just about to sign off but I'll offer my 2 cents until others reply. I don't think you would have two C drives at one time. The initialization process automatically assigns drive numbers and should identify one as a C drive and one as a D drive. Although they are separate hard drives I wonder if the problem is that you have identified two active primary partitions and that is where the conflict is. Partition Magic can set the non-booting primary partition as non-active or, if you don't use something like Partition Magic, then FDISK would be another option. ...Dan ===================== ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Monday, June 18, 2001 7:41 PM Subject: [xxcopy] Monday - would not boot with 2 C drives in computer > Monday - would not boot with 2 C drives in computer > > Drive I cloned is an external scsi drive 9 gig > > so I turned it off and booted win98 ok > > Anyown know how to fix this so I can boot my 9 gig D dvive turned on > with my C clone on it ? > > thanks > > > inventor84 > at > att > net > > > > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
