Ken, I appreciate that you need to make money to support this. As one of the, perhaps, few, people that actually registered the original PKZIP, I still don't appreciate the (show stopping) nag that doesn't activate until you actually *do* something with XXCOPY. Okay, I said, I know about the nag (and remarked upon this previously) as I installed it on another computer (and the installation doesn't say a WORD about nagging). So, I figure, maybe I should start XXCOPY.EXE with no parameters. That will run the program and I can get on to the nag about agreeing to everything instead of having to deal with it in the middle of my batch file, which, for some unknown reasons doesn't actually allow me to actually specify "Y" to the on screen prompt... when it *finally* appears. But... No, that simply displays the on-screen help. Running my batch file results in a prompt I can't respond to. I have to FAKE OUT xxcopy with a "real" operation (try XXCOPY . .., and then answer N when it finally asks if you really want to continue with the operation after the nag), before it condescends to nag me and allows me to enter "Y" to allow it to reside where it has previously. Especially given the transition from freeware to shareware, I, personally, find it extremely annoying that the nag can shut down my modest batch operation. Just my $0.02 worth. Ken, to be honest, your continued interaction and support with XXCOPY is likely more than worth the modest registration fee and eventually, even though I am a home user, I am likely to contribute for the "pro" version. Still, the nag continues to irritate me to no end, even as it goes away once I figure out how to say "Y" to it. Sincerely, Joseph Maddison Minneapolis, MN
