I've had problems at 8 GB, 32 GB, and the next hurdle I'm told, is somewhere around 57 GB, if I remember correctly. After that, who knows? What I did (but don't recommend) is buying an updated BIOS flash from a reseller. I spent more than the cost of a new Motherboard on it. Ouch. But if you have an old Gateway P5, let's talk! Using programs to overlay the hard drive may make some disk imaging programs, like Drive Image (always a little twitchy) just that much more unstable. There's some really nice looking MB's coming out, so get one with ATA100 onboard and a 266 bus speed. Other weirdness: installing WinNT or Win2k on a large disk and formatting it to use FAT32 results in a large volume that *is* FAT32, but is *marked* FAT16 as far as Drive Image goes. Doing stuff with Drive Image will not work right. Bad deal. Always partition FAT32 volumes first, then install Win2K without reformatting. I forget how I removed the dual boot option it insisted on putting in since I was not reformatting, though. Regards, Joseph Maddison
