Mike, a couple of shots in the dark pending comments from others: 1- Supposedly you had/have each of the two operating systems in a separate primary 'C' partition on the primary drive and the dual boot process provides for one to be an active partition while the other is a hidden partition. If that's the case I'm wondering why your note refers to a drive 'D'? 2- Do you recall which directory was identified as having a corrupt file, it might provide a clue. 3- Did you run scandisk before copying? 4- Is everything FAT16 or are you moving between FAT16 and FAT32? 5- What software are you using for the dual boot? Bootmagic? (PS. I don't know the answer to your question of how to show your name for the group ... where is there a list of names?) ============================== ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Monday, August 06, 2001 5:32 PM Subject: [xxcopy] The CLONE switch > I'm trying (emphasize trying) to move my whole installation from two > drives with a total of 6.5 Gb to a 18.5 Gb (you may be able to guess > from the sizes this is a SCSI installation.)
