Mike, I'll need to defer to others who are more knowledgeable with systems that are supposedly not DOS-based, but even with WinNT and Win2K I would have thought the Systems directory would be accessible if you boot from a floppy into a 'pure' DOS session and not, if its applicable, some sort of pseudo-DOS while WinNT and Win2K are still running. Maybe the additional clues will lead to some further suggestions from others. Another quick thought is that if the dual boot is controlled by WinNT and Win2K then they are probably running in the background even when you boot to the c-drive DOS. The answer then might be the floppy boot to a 'pure' DOS session, and then run xxcopy?
