But wemarsh1, also note that xxcopy needs the supplementary use of something like Doslfnbk if you want to use the results to back up your operating system and/or programs in such a way that you don't have to re-install them if you need to run a recovery. Copying files to CDRs is not equivalent to using xxcopy to copy to another harddrive partition because the former can result in the loss of important information regarding the long and short file names, but the latter usage does not have that problem.
