Hi, I have copied/backed-up (control-c -> control-v) disk c: (a 2 GB ,FAT16, WIN95 boot) to a new drive - "f:" - a third logical drive on a disk with d-e-f . I used explorer's "folder-options" of "view all files" so I believe all system & hidden files are there (like /clone ?) . Disk c: was corrupted and I need to restore it (temporarily running a win98 clean install on it, but without all the rest of previous installations). 1. if there is a way XXCOPY can help ? Is there a way to "move" older installed programs from f: back to c: (with the new win98) ? 2. if not - should I copy again from f: to d: - the first logical drive , and switch disks ? 3. or could I boot with a start-up diskette and use XXCOPY16 /CLONE to copy back f: to c: ? format c: first ? Thanks,
