Frankly I think that for debugging, you're better off with the screen output rather than the log files. Just use xxcopy .... >> logfile.log. Also, remember that you can use /Q0 to get a list of every file, whether copied, skipped or excluded. Depending on what you're after, I sometimes find it convenient to use 2 xxcopy commands. The 1st uses /Lxxx with the output re-directed to a log file (using either /of2/oalogfile.log or '>>'). The second repeats the command but with /L replaced with a /oAlogfile.log.
