I wrote the file and when I ran it, the Manuscript.doc was deleted from the desktop before it could be copied to the floppy. So I changed the /RS to /RD and then everything was okay. But now I'm curious. I wrote a simple regular copy command: COPY C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\MANUSCRIPT.DOC A:\"Manuscript.doc" and it works. It automatically overwrites the file on the floppy and there is no "Disk Full" error even if the floppy is almost full. Could you let me know if there are any advantages to this way of doing it? Also, what are the disadvantages? Steve
