We have just updated the release version (now v.2.82.3) The only difference between this and the last (v.2.28.2) is the OS DLL filetime compare value. As Rotaiv noted, XXCOPY is a little paranoia on new OS environment. While in most cases, it is harmless, we have seen a new OS causing problem. So, the version warning was incorporated in XXCOPY. When XXCOPY encounters a new DLL file (among the few essential system DLLs), it gives the warning. With Microsoft's frequent hot-patch updates, the version checking based upon file date may cause more problems (the extra warning message), than it tries to alert. (But, we would not have known such subtle and transparent DLL replacement that took place otherwise). At any rate, we just recompiled the program using the new date-value for cheching, the warning should disappear without the use of /WV0. For new version, please get the latest release version: http://www.xxcopy.com Go to Section 8 (Free Update for XXCOPY Pro User) and enter your license serial number if you use XXCOPY-Pro.
