Howard: First of all, with a command line program such as XXCOPY, you just cannot operate the software and exploit it fully without reading documentation. Nearly *ALL* user prompts can be disabled. But, you need to learn which switch does the job. http://www.xxcopy.com/xxcopy27.htm#tag_320 If you don't know which one to use, just let XXCOPY display the warning prompt, then type ? and you will find a short answer on which switch is appropriate to suppress the particular switch.
