Just wondering if the file size limitation (4GB on NTFS) has been resolved yet or if it will be soon. Some of the SQL Server backup files that I need to copy daily have just crossed the 4GB size barrier and now xxcopy only copies the chunk above (or below - not sure) of the file. For example, when my source file is this size: 08/11/2002 03:05a 4,645,379,584 PDI_01_db_200208110302.BAK xxcopy only copies this: F:\mssql\backup\PDI_01_db_200208110302.BAK 350,412,288 Notice that the difference is EXACTLY 4096MB or 4GB. If xxcopy can't handle these files yet or soon, I'll have to redo my daily batch files to use copy or find some other way to get these files moved around. Thanks, -Norm
