Robert, I ran your batch file after changing only the drive letter, and got the same result you did. After removing the extra slash, however, it appeared to work fine. xxcopy "C:\program files\" "E:\" /m/h/r/y//ks/zy/s/q xxcopy "C:\program files\" "E:\" /m/h/r/y/ks/zy/s/q Xxcopy treated "//ks/zy/s/q" as a comment.
