Same thing happened to me. I had to add /WV0 to the end of every line in all 
of my batch files.

SP1 is the cause. It appears that XXCOPY looks to see what the OS is and 
reports that error message if it's not an OS it has been tested with. I guess 
that is a good idea but it sure was a pain having to add /WV0 to the end of 
every line in my batch files. Good news is I will not have to do it again when 
SP2 comes out.
