Still, I am having difficulty. Per the website help, the following 
should exclude all directories starting with the letter "T" and "H".

Where am I incorrect in the syntax?

xxcopy "c:\documents and settings\" e:\kkk\ /e/h/i/y/x"*\local 
settings\t*\*\" /x"*\local settings\h*\*\" /x*\cookies\*\
