Folks: Lately, the spam attacks to this discussion group have reached a new level. They take the extra steps to becoming a member of this group and then post their useless messages. It is unbelievable. Please ignore *ALL* of them. In the meantime, I will diligently delete all such messages and remove the author from the group (albeit, with little effect). Although it is too late for me for the messages that are mailed to the subscribers, I should still remove the "noise" from the archived messages. Please remember one thing before you post a message: ---------------------------------------------------- When you cite a message that appeared on this board, please make sure to trim the included text to be a bare minimum and *NEVER* *NEVER* propagate spam contents. ---------------------------------------------------- I will post what angmed had to say in his last message (which I must delete because it contained a spam message) with my response to it. My suggestion is simply xxcopy c:\ d:\ /clone /pz0 It won't copy everything (the system registry, etc.) for WinNT/2K/XP. But, the work around is to install the second set of Windows on another volume and boot into the second Windows before you run the above command to copy everything. I know it is not a perfect solution. But, as I have said in XXTB #36, creating the perfect, bootable replica of a system disk has never been the primary objective of the XXCOPY utility, we are not putting all of our engineering efforts on this issue. We are currently working other "more important" area. The reason why you don't find a perfect answer for this problem is because we simply don't have one. Kan Yabumoto
