The drives are not in removable trays, so replacement involves shutting down and changing jumpers. No need for the ghost system here. Xxcopy /clone performed an incremental backup of about 3 months worth in 15 minutes a couple of days ago. I have an earlier backup on another drive, which I took out and parked. I gather that later Windozes create problems because of HD serial numbers. It might be well to make them all identical. There are utilities to set these, I don't have one handy though. The serial nos go with the partitions, and dir (at least via 4dos) shows them. -- Chuck F (cbfalconer@y...) (cbfalconer@w...) Available for consulting/temporary embedded and systems.
