(Continuing & Concluding very soon) KAM: I renamed my directories and proceeded to start install.bat. I was led through the approval of terms etc and then was asked to approve the the XXCOPY Home directory would be "C:\WINDOS\COMMAND" I did not recall this question on the Free version. When it appeared to be completed, I was told to key in XXCOPY /INSTALL and it went through the process all over again. No problem, I guess except that there is an XX2827.EXE in the "HOME" directory, I hope it is NOT a problem when I up grade to the next version. In the future, should I just start install.bat from the temparary directry & skip the XXCOPY.EXE /INSTALL? Now I will erase any and all my temporary directories, retaining the zipped license only. End of topic. Thank you for your help. As a professional programmer, I am need to be sure my backups are complete and secure. It has taken me several years to be sure. (As for my specific work projects, I maintain zipped backups on rewriteable cd_s. (Soon to be DVD's)) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
