Successfully cloned my C: drive, 44GB of data, to drive in my "USB2 kit", 86MB/sec., seems pretty respectable. Funny how I never noticed before that I was running 2.80.2 for so long and not realizing it! I install XXCOPY in C:\COMMAND, which is in my PATH. But Windows was running the XXCOPY that I had in \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32, not the copy in C:\COMMAND. It should have been a clue when I kept getting the message, "You have been using the freeware version for 386 days" ... Manual for my USB2 kit indicates that USB2 supports a maximum of 127GB. I wonder if that's really true; I wonder if they are simply referring to the 128/137GB limit imposed by 28-bit addressing, or whether has a separate maximum of 127GB.
