I am trying to use xxcopy to make a backup of my Palm user folder. It keeps copying the same files over and over even when they have not changed. Here is the command line I am using: xxcopy.exe "f:\Palm\KjellbT\" "R:\Palm\KjellbT\" /e /BN /OA"BackupLog. txt" When I use Robocopy, it does not copy the files (which is correct). I notice both of these in the xxcopy help file: ----- The following switches are useful for backup and archive ----- /BN Backs up newer files only (includes brand new files). ----- Environment variables that affect XXCOPY----- Summary XXCOPY switches that check two directories: /BN all files in A plus files in B that have newer filetime I am trying to use the first. Am I missing something? Thanks. Tait
