I was responding to Mark's request which seemed to go unanswered. I myself do not delete anything at the source in a backup operation and use xxcopy to copy to CD-RW (including spanned sets), HD, and CD-R. I use Ghost image files for full backups. I adhere to the packrat approach and am scared to death to loose one single file. dayvah49
