Don't do it, at least not to the exclusion of text based documentation. Text can be rapidly and conveniently searched, printed, etc. by such utilities as grep. The help system files cannot usually be easily printed without much paper wastage. The texinfo system from DJGPP may be useful. Among other things it allows a master file to be prepared which can be easily converted into .info, .ps, .pdf, and .html files. Both the .info and .html formats allow easy cross-linking, and the .html format is especially easy to output onto various page sizes. (My most common printing size is logically 7.9x13 inch pages, which are reduced to fit onto one half of an 8.5x11 sheet for booklets). -- Chuck F (cbfalconer@y...) (cbfalconer@w...)
