I have seen some hints that say you only need a formatted DVD and a process of the nero or directCD running. So far, XXCOPY has not been able to write to my disc. I probably missed a simple step, but I have not been able to locate any step-by-step instructions that help us novice DVD'rs get upto speed. I will tackle the Ahead software InCD help files again. > Thanks, > Marek Just as a general comment, and I don't know if this applies to using a command line application such as xxcopy, but using direct CD (Adaptech or Roxio's equivallent of "packet write") is not as reliable as doing a proper CD burn. I've found enough file curruptions over multiple CD's when using drag-n-drop to my CD in exploerer to prompted me to now perform a proper CD burn and "CD close".
