To all, Just wanted to add some further differences: InCD (NERO): Packet writing, ONLY TO CD-RW media, CD-R is NOT supported. DirectCD (Roxio): Packet writing, supports BOTH CD-R and CD-RW media. Also, InCD would show incremental data (or, subsequent, if you will) only via a "mounted volume" to the exclusion of other, existing volumes. This took me awhile to comprehend, as I had been using DirectCD first. DirectCD will show ALL the data ALL the time via Windows Explorer. InCD is a minor annoyance in this area. I have used both (in Windows 98SE) and prefer DirectCD because it supports both media types. I could not, at this time, say one was more dependent than the other, they both served me well.
