Chaz, I tried the /S again. Still to no avail. It will remove nonexistant files in the destination that no longer appear in the source, but it still will not go through the subdirectories. This is the result: F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop>xxcopy.exe "F:\Palm\KjellbT\" "C:\Palm\Kj ellbT\" /RX/S/YY/OA"RemoveLog.txt" XXCOPY == Freeware == Ver 2.82.7 (c)1995-2002 Pixelab, Inc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- C:\Palm\KjellbT\ RmDir failed ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Directories processed = 0 Total data in bytes = 0 Elapsed time in sec. = 4.596 Action speed (MB/min) = 0 Files deleted = 0 Log File Appended = "F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop\RemoveLog.txt" Exit code = 100 (No files were found to copy) If I take the /YY out, I get this: F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop>xxcopy.exe "F:\Palm\KjellbT\" "C:\Palm\Kj ellbT\" /RX/S/OA"RemoveLog.txt" XXCOPY == Freeware == Ver 2.82.7 (c)1995-2002 Pixelab, Inc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- C:\Palm\KjellbT\ RmDir (Y/N)? If I then click Y, I get this: F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop>remove F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop>Del RemoveLog.txt F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop>xxcopy.exe "F:\Palm\KjellbT\" "C:\Palm\Kj ellbT\" /RX/S/OA"RemoveLog.txt" XXCOPY == Freeware == Ver 2.82.7 (c)1995-2002 Pixelab, Inc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- C:\Palm\KjellbT\ Dir Processed C:\Palm\KjellbT\ RmDir (Y/N)? If I then click Y again, here are the results: F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop>xxcopy.exe "F:\Palm\KjellbT\" "C:\Palm\Kj ellbT\" /RX/S/OA"RemoveLog.txt" XXCOPY == Freeware == Ver 2.82.7 (c)1995-2002 Pixelab, Inc. --------------------------------------------------------------------- C:\Palm\KjellbT\ Dir Processed C:\Palm\KjellbT\ RmDir failed --------------------------------------------------------------------- Directories processed = 0 Total data in bytes = 0 Elapsed time in sec. = 0.01 Action speed (MB/min) = 0 Files deleted = 0 Log File Appended = "F:\Documents and Settings\Tait\Desktop\RemoveLog.txt" Exit code = 100 (No files were found to copy) It still does not want to go down the subdirectories. Any ideas. Thanks again, Tait --- In xxcopy@yahoogroups.com, Chaz Cone wrote: > Tait, I've not tried it but it seems that all you need is the /S > switch.
