One problem I ran into: Tried to install InCD on a machine which had, in the past, had DirectCD installed. InCD refused to install until DirectCD was uninstalled -- which it had been, via the Adaptec/Roxio uninstaller, and several months earlier. No amount of searching/editing the registry, fiddling with .dll's, .drv's, .sys files etc. would change this, it just wouldn't install. Nether company was able to make any suggestion other than re-formatting C: (not an option at the time), so I still have no experience with InCD, but I have to say that my time with DirectCD wasn't particularly happy -- even write-once discs couldn't be trusted and it often wrecked re-writeables to the point that extreme measures had to be employed to erase them. Admittedly I haven't tried the current versions of either utility -- have been a bit nervous of them, and media is so cheap now that the risk of data loss hardly seems justified.
