I've used XXCOPY for some time without any problems.. However, after I upgraded to Win XP, I'm getting lots of error messages from the BAT file I use to backup my system. "Program too big to fit into memory" occurs most of the time. (I copied a few lines of my BAT file below.) I note from the archive that this has been discussed before. Has anyone come up with the answer? -- CM +++++++++++++++++++++++++ SET DRIVE=D: REM Use a directory called "BackUp" in the root directory REM of the chosen drive. SET SOURCEDRIVE=C: SET DEST=%DRIVE%\Drive C %SOURCEDRIVE% REM Explorer's Favourites menu echo now backing up %SOURCEDRIVE%\Documents and Settings\Fred Grieve\Favorites\ xxcopy "%SOURCEDRIVE%\Documents and Settings\Fred Grieve\Favorites\" "%DEST%\Documents and Settings\Fred Grieve\Favorites" /h /e /yy /clone +++++++++++++++++++++++++
