Marturo, I think that alternative approaches would include software programs, such as Norton Ghost, that can be used to copy an exact image of your old PCs active partition onto CDRs and then transfer that partition image to your new PC's harddrive, or maybe a simpler approach of creating the partition image copy on a secondary harddrive on the old PC and then physically move that secondary harddrive to the new PC as a primary harddrive. You could research the process on the internet.
