yes, i was looking to remove a specific file type (i.e., all those 
that had .cdb extensions) from a large client drive. moreover, i 
wanted to keep the directory structure of those copied the same. i 
didn't think that i could simply copy them back over to the other 
drive. particularly when some of those files have been in use while 
the copy took place.
