In our workplace we use xxcopy to copy data files from individual 
computers to an archive on the server. Later, the archived files are 
copied to CDs using xxcopy. It is used to push data files out to the 
machines that will use them. The program is also used to delete files 
from both locals and server if they meet certain criteria (age, 
archive bit status, template name, etc.). We have many scripts in DOS 
batch language and Python that call xxcopy.

I use xxcopy with the switch /L frequently, to have a look at what's 
going on: what programs have created what files in the last day or 
two; which files are the largest; which ones have I probably misnamed 
(the wildcards are great!) At work, I can /L(ook) to see what other 
users are putting into folders for which I'm responsible.

It the slickest and most dangerous program I use. On my all-time 
favorites list are xxcopy, Boxer, PowerDesk, and HyperSnap.
