Virg, This line > xxcopy c:\lamps\htdocs\members\~1st*.* /s/rs/yy/onc:\xlog.txt not only deletes ~1st*.* but all empty subdirectories as well. To retain the empty subdirectories, use the switch /ed. Kan warns, wisely, against using the switch /yy blindly. Type your command lines by hand with the switch /L (look, don't do) or /? (tell me what the switches mean) before going ahead with a destructive command. I've made it a habit to type xxcopy /L before I add source, destination, or other switches; that way, if I hit "enter" too soon, I won't have done something awful.
