Virg,

Put /S on your command line and see if that works.
Also, use wildcards and a backslash if appropriate.

Is each directory name __vti_cnf? Or is there more
at the start or back?

xxcopy c:\lamps\htdocs\members\*_vti_cnf*\ /e/rmdir/s
