John, you're asking XXCOPY to do the thing it was meant to do. It's sOOO easy. Rather than going to the destination before issuing the command, just do this: xxcopy z:\source\ y:\destination\ /clone As Kan tells us all the time, be sure to use the trailing backslash so that XXCOPY knows you mean the "folder named xxxx" rather than a file with that name.
