Usenet groups are often rather disrespectful of top-posters (viciously trashing those who do it); the Yahoo groups I frequent tend to use top-posting. I just wanted to point out that (a) some of us think top-posting is "better"; (b) bottom-posting doesn't automagically make things better, if the 8 lines of Yahoo-sponsorship stuff isn't removed from the message to which you're replying. > > Just to remind everyone, the bottom 11 lines (8 Yahoo lines and 3 blank lines) of what CBFalconer's message included have been removed. However (leaving the other portions where they were) you did not snip the sig line, nor did you control your output line length. Including attributions, the result would have been the top 4 lines of your post, and everything would make sense. Besides coherence, bottom posting encourages (certainly doesn't enforce) good snipping practices. At any rate, the policy here is Kan to make.
