If you have both Nero and Easy CD installed, you probably have 
incompatible device drivers fighting to control the CD. I'd suggest 
that you uninstall all CD writing software then reinstall just the 
product you want to use. Just hope that the uninstall cleanly removes 
or disables the CD device drivers properly - not always the case in 
my experience. You might have to hunt down which drivers belong to 
which product and manually disable the ones that don't belong.
