It sounds like you might have driver conflicts with other cd burning software. The best URL I've found for help with Nero/InCD driver conflicts is at http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002822798638 I had this problem and only fixed it after following instructions from one of the links on the webpage above. If you just started using Nero and already had Easy CD Creator installed then it's probably a driver conflict. Another driver that might conflict with Nero's is the one for MusicMatch used for writing to CD-Rs. The basic technique is to rename the offending driver file *.EXT*, but *NOT* delete the file(s). BTW they are mostly (.VXD) extensions. If you rename the wrong ones you may not be able to get back into Windows at least that's true in Win9X systems, don't know about XP. Nero does supply instructions for making bootdisks that will handle conflicts so you can go back and forth between programs but I could never get them to work. I hope this helps. dayvah49 --- In xxcopy@yahoogroups.com, HxEngr@a... wrote: > I believe it was someone on this list who put me onto that software for > burning CDs, and it's been really slick.
