Dale: What you may consider is a network solution. If you install a proper set of device drivers so that your DOS 5 machine can be connected to a LAN, you may be able to run a Win2K/XP machine at the other end. Running XXCOPY on the Win2K/XP end and access the MO drive remotely, you should be able to save the timestamp of the directory on your MO drive into the disk drive. In this case, you need to use XXCOPY (not XXCOPY16).
