I went to the link below. There is also a getvar command. A simple (not elegant) idea to use for setting a return code from xxcopy. See the link. Suppose xxcopy had an output file that will contain a set command, for example: set errorlevel=100 xxcopy /rc=errorlevel /rctf=FullyQualifiedFileName.bat ...... call FullyQualifiedFileName.bat echo the return value from xxcopy is [%errorlevel%] if [%errorlevel%]==[0] go to ok if [%errorlevel%]==[100] go to ok Sorry :-) xxcopy@yahoogroups.com wrote:Message: 3 > Date: Mon, 10 Mar 2003 02:21:11 -0000 > From: "garrydeane" > Subject: Re: DOS Chlice Command > > --- In xxcopy@yahoogroups.com, "Jim Sperger" wrote: > > > There are also a number of freeware replacements for Choice such as > Bill Stewart's GetKey > (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/stewartb/files/getkv8.zip) > > Garry -- Jon Hugdahl
