The closest you can do is use /IN... to specify multiple file specs (e.g. /IN*.txt /IN*.DOC etc) and you can use /CF to specify a command file which includes all those /IN commands. However you can only specify ONE source base directory. The usual method to copy multiple source directories is to have a batch file with multiple xxcopy commands. As discussed in a recent post, you might be able to achieve a similar result to using an include file list by instead using the /X... or /EX to exclude the files and directories you don't want to copy. Whether you could do this depends on the nature of the files to be copied. Garry
