I tried it on NT (both FAT and NTFS) with Xxcopy 2.84.0 and it works without a problem. It may relate to that version. Since the /CLONE switch includes /V1 (Verifies the copy by comparing the file size) you might be able to work around this with: Xxcopy \src\ \ref\ /CLONE /TR0 /V0. Garry
