I suppose this problem has been posted before, but a couple of=20
attempts to locate an on point thread failed so I'm posting.

When I make a total backup with clone I get many "Copy Failed"=20
messages. I have a hard time saying how many I get but it's probably=20
several hundred. They usually seem to come in batches/groups. These=20
failures break down into 2 categories. If I run clone a second time=20
it seems to pickup almost all of the files that reported "Copy=20
Failed" the first time. From this point forward there are about 30=20
files that fail every time clone is run =96 these are the same files=20
over and over.

This behavior is not unique to me. A friend I told about XXCopy has=20
exactly the same experience, except he only has 2 files that won't=20
copy after the second pass. I run XP Pro he runs W98se.

Is this behavior expected/normal? If not, does anyone know a fix?
