I am interested mainly in pure DOS and had some success with USB initialization of devices see: www.mwpms.uklinux.net/page2.htm and http://www.bgdf.com/darkehorse forum section. Most people turn to DOS because Ghost etc will not function when goes into DOS mode and they have inaccessible USB and/or FireWire devices attached. I would like to know has anybody been successful cloning etc to external USB devices in pure stand-alone DOS using "xxcopy16", but any feedback welcome. I want to find an alternative which does not rely on Windows to set up the software, but also can recognise external devices etc. Also as the next release of CDRoast should be able to burn to an external USB CDR, it would allow me to have a non-windows environment. Thanks in advance
