I found a free tool called Lexun Backup Solution that has the features I mentioned. It is happy to break files into CD sized chunks and will compress them as well. XXCOPY can not be beat for its numerous powerful features so I'll compile the file using xxcopy and then use Lexun Backup to burn it to CD. Using the two together gives even more powerful options. I do wonder if the compression in Lexun Backup has any ill effects. I guess I'll experiment. Compression is a selected feature so it is optional. --- CBFalconer wrote: > "J.
