Hi All, I have been working on some ideas kindly provided by the group. Identical procedures have been used on 2 servers .. one is NT4 SP6 and the other is W2K SP3. The NT4 setup has worked perfectly and consistently when copying both the HOME and GROUP shares, a total of around 5GB. When applied to the W2K machine XXCOPY gave a warning that a DLL was newer than that used by XXCOPY (use /WV0 to suppress or "press any key"). The procedure continued as normal for around 1GB of files and suddenly stopped. Similar behavior occurred with both shares with the message "error code 40 A Fatal Error Has Occurred" Version 2.84.0 and 2.84.4 both gave the same symptom. Help! (again) please.
